Dave White, New Zealand Manager for PPG was pleased to be able to confirm their sponsorship support for the 69 camaro rs for the balance of the 2009-10 season.

Parry Hunt welcomed PPG’s additional support and looks forward to a mutually beneficial relationship for the rest of the season.  As well as direct support PPG supplied a range of liquid crystal special effects paint to make the 69 camaro rs look as good as it does.

We had another skid at fram autolite dragway on 28-29 november. 

After completing the burnout in our first outing we blew a blower belt. 

The next day we managed to get in two skids which completed the cars licensing requirements.  The first skid being a 7.76 at 140mph taught us we needed a bit more wing in the car. The second skid was a 7.38 at 205mph I had to back out of at half track due to tyre shake, but after putting my foot back in it to complete the run gave me the fright of my life and made me realise we need to give the car a lot more respect…..
